Job Description:

Workplace Benefits delivers the best of what Bank of America has to offer to businesses and their employees, strategically utilizing the bank's leading capabilities to drive growth across the company. Workplace Benefits is aggressively growing and transforming and as such, is looking to add a new Business Strategy & Intelligence Sr Manager to help the business achieve its goals. This role will report to the Head of Business Acceleration and will be responsible for the creation, socialization, execution, measurement, and management of a cross-LOB strategy to drive revenue, optimize expenses, and deliver for our clients. The role will partner directly with senior stakeholders (within and outside of Workplace Benefits) to deliver a breakthrough results for not only Workplace Benefits, but also Preferred, Merrill, Private Bank, Business Banking, Commercial Banking, and Corporate & Investment banking. The candidate will be required to work with peers across Workplace Benefits as well as across the company in other LOBs (i.e. GCB, BB, Merrill, etc) to exert influence, integrate, and ultimately deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.

Candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, manage, update, and evolve the cross-LOB strategy for Bank of America's Workplace Benefits business
  • Craft and leverage a strategic narrative for the business, utilizing a variety of data inputs, in support of ongoing LOB socialization activities
  • Design presentations for utilization with executive audiences (i.e. board, MTM, Market Presidents, peer LOB leadership teams, etc)
  • Craft, coordinate, and oversee the execution on an internal stakeholder plan, resulting in the successful vesting of key stakeholders in the Workplace Benefits business
  • Partner with Workplace Benefits Data & Analytics and enterprise Analytics & Information Management teams to develop strategic key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurement systems, providing actionable insights surrounding the performance of Workplace Benefits capabilities, our clients, and our plan participants
  • Partner with various competitive intelligence teams in Workplace Benefits, Preferred, and Merrill to generate insights surrounding competitor activity, performance, and our relative positioning against our competitors
  • Partner with Marketing/CXO, Communications, PR, Events, and Social to develop an integrated MarComm strategy for both the upstream (corporate client) and downstream (individual participant) aspects of the Workplace Benefits business
  • Facilitate a management routine to ensure ongoing connectivity with partners in Marketing/CXO, Communications, PR, Events, and Social
  • Act as the business lead for a number of strategic, cross-LOB Workplace Benefits initiatives
  • Partner with Workplace Benefits Controls and LRC to ensure that cross-functional, strategic risks to the business are addressed and strategic regulatory questions are answered appropriately
  • Act as the primary point of contact / intake / coordinator to address strategic questions surrounding the business that are received from senior executives (i.e. MTM, Operating Committee Members, Board, etc)
  • Proactively develop and deepen trusted relationships with strategy peers across Workplace Benefits and partner LOBs (i.e. Commercial Banking, Business Banking, Merrill, Preferred, etc)
  • Create artifacts (presentations and talking points) in support of executive (band 1) presentations related to Workplace Benefits (i.e. Workplace Benefits Executive Townhall Presentations)
  • Partner with Corporate Strategy & Development on any required enterprise-level strategy deliverables
  • Lead/execute incubation process for new cross-LOB strategic ideas / programs from (ideation, scope, opportunity statement, high level business case, etc)
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of strategy and/or management consulting experience
  • Expert level PowerPoint skills, able to create executive level presentations from scratch or conceptual ideas
  • Strong executive presence, high degree of situational awareness, and demonstrated fortitude and resilience
Desired:
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Knowledge of Institutional Retirement products
  • 5+ years of strategy and/or management consulting experience
  • Experience working directly with senior executives (band 2+)
Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
