Job Summary
The M&A Associate position at LRE involves supporting activities related to acquiring new utility-scale wind, solar, and storage assets, implementing asset monetization strategies, and gathering competitive intelligence. The role also entails collaborating with various teams within LRE to facilitate project acquisitions, revenue growth analysis, and origination team initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior team in acquisition and divestiture transactions
- Review financial models for valuation analysis
- Source and analyze market data, competitor information
- Track opportunities and internal deliverables
- Prepare materials for management and external engagements
- Participate in key calls and meetings
- Contribute to M&A and Origination team strategies
- Collaborate with internal technical services
- Evaluate project acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships
- Support core M&A process activities
- Perform additional duties as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
- Minimum 2 years of experience in energy-related roles
- Bachelor's degree
Physical Demands:
- Extended periods of sitting
- Occasional lifting of 20 pounds or more
- Travel requirement of at least 25%
- Flexible work location
