Job Summary:
The KidsCare Administrative Assistant manages record keeping and administrative tasks for the department. This position is an integral part of day-to-day operations, ultimately impacting the care of the kids we are serving.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain membership database program for the KidsCare sites and rectify any problems in a timely manner.
- Produce membership, attendance and/or demographic or other reports for management as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as filling out reports, forms, etc. as assigned.
- Maintain records in invoicing system and answer parent/guardian questions about payments.
- Prepare bank deposits for separation of duties at administration office.
- Provide KidsCare sites with accurate and uptodate membership records.
- Communicate with parents with onboarding and welcome information.
- Submit and followup on office maintenance requests.
- Maintain and order office supplies for the administration office.
- Answer telephones in a warm, professional manner. Take messages as instructed, assist members with use of phones per procedure.
- Welcome visitors and connect them with appropriate contact.
- May be required to travel to KidsCare sites to assist with staffing needs.
- Ability to uphold the organization's mission and values.
- Other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in administration field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable transportation, safe driving record, active driver's license, and automobile insurance
- Position may require standing/sitting for extended periods of time, reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, bending at the waist, and ability to lift, carry, pull or otherwise move objects up to 20lbs.
Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
