Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and reconcile security accounts and related cash funds in compliance with laws and regulations governing the Unclaimed Property program.
- Verify, maintain, and manage security accounts and cash funds according to laws and regulations governing the program.
- Perform other essential functions including work on properties escheated in the name of the State of California, assignments, special projects, and more.
- Communicate with internal and external parties regarding stock and cash status and methods of security payment.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Investment/securities knowledge.
- Ability to analyze data and draw sound conclusions.
- Strong analytical and research skills, as well as the ability to use good judgment.
- Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules, standards and procedures.
