Our client which operates luxury brands in e-commerce, fashion, and tech is seeking a well-connected PR leader to help move the needle. We are seeking a leader that has the ability to lead press and marketing for all of their associated brands.

Public Relations Manager Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $80,000 to $100,000
  • Fully Remote Role

Public Relations Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive communication strategies for assigned brands based on thorough research and analysis of market trends, target audience, and brand objectives.
  • Create and maintain a pitch calendar for each brand, ensuring consistent media coverage, and craft compelling pitches to secure media placements.
  • Write, review, and edit all pitches to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and maintain quality standards.
  • Stay abreast of industry news and trends to identify media outreach opportunities and maintain brand recognition and media presence.
  • Handle incoming media inquiries, assess PR opportunities, and manage time-sensitive requests, including data/fact-checking, speaking engagements, and interviews.
  • Manage research, coverage, reporting, and contacts for media outreach, identifying opportunities for enhanced brand visibility.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other press materials as needed to promote brand initiatives effectively.
  • Facilitate favorable casting practices for case studies and other opportunities to showcase the brand's strengths.

Public Relations Manager Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a PR role with a demonstrable portfolio.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing a PR team or performing similar leadership responsibilities.
  • Thorough understanding of communications principles with knowledge and familiarity with media landscape.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of multitasking and successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
