In this role, you'll be in charge of expanding, leading, and supervising all luxury sales activities aimed at high-end Travel Advisors, specifically in the USA, with a strong emphasis on the Impression Brand. Your main focus will be on premium retail consortia, Travel Advisors, direct booking platforms, as well as managing sales relationships with upscale wholesalers and distribution channels. You'll play a crucial role in raising awareness about the Impression Brand across various sales channels, including online travel agencies, Consortia Partners, luxury tour operators, AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts, and more. Additionally, you will work on bolstering awareness of luxury resorts and brands, liaising with Regional Sales Directors, Director of Sales Consortia, and Luxury Brands to devise global strategies and increase revenues in the USA through integrated marketing efforts with partners.

As a successful Business Development Manager - Luxury USA West Coast, you will:

  • BE LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA
  • Devise and implement strategic sales initiatives for third-party luxury channels
  • Maximize sales and revenue generation at retail and partner levels
  • Organize and conduct collaborative sales calls with key partners
  • Represent brands at industry events and shows
  • Support sales plans, benchmarking, marketing plans, and owner reports as necessary
  • Maintain partner databases meticulously
  • Stay updated and report trends and market developments to management
  • Establish strong relationships with Business Partners and third-party vendors
  • Think creatively to set us apart from competitors and foster loyalty
  • Introduce innovative ideas to create new business prospects
  • Perform any other relevant duties needed for the role

An ideal Business Development Manager - Luxury USA West Coast should have:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • An existing network within high-end leisure luxury channels and segments
  • Demonstrated experience in driving sales growth in a specific territory
  • Comprehensive knowledge and background in the hospitality industry
  • Ability to deliver presentations to large audiences, like travel agents, and excel under pressure
  • Solid management skills with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and results-focused
  • Effective organizational and time management proficiencies
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and validate data independently
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Willingness to travel with a valid passport
