Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations at the distribution center for streamlined workflows.
  • Devise and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiencies, cut down costs, and elevate customer satisfaction levels.
  • Guide and mentor supervisors and staff to cultivate a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Ensure adherence to company regulations, safety protocols, and statutory obligations.
  • Track key performance metrics and generate regular reports on operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with various departments like sales, customer service, and procurement to simplify procedures and bolster overarching business goals.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy for the distribution center.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in distribution center or warehouse management, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Thorough understanding of logistics, inventory management, and distribution mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead, inspire, and nurture a team.
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problems-solving proficiencies.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal aptitudes.
