Responsibilities:
  • Plans, directs and promotes sales of existing services to fleet customers.
  • Oversees daily operations of Mobile Maintenance Program in a designated area of operations.
  • Hires, onboards, orients, trains and supervises team members; conducts performance reviews of active mobile maintenance locations to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Conducts site level training of new mobile maintenance technicians to ensure maximum efficiency of the technician.
  • Conducts follow up training at site level as needed to improve efficiency and production.
  • Conducts site level training with management to help them maximize the mobile maintenance operations efficiency at the site level.
  • Collaborates with fleet sales to introduce the mobile maintenance program to new fleets and helps them sell the mobile maintenance program to those fleets.
  • Develops contacts and new customers through participation in trucking industry shows; plans and coordinates participation at industry trade shows and takes an active role in the event.
  • Oversees field training programs designed to keep the mobile maintenance program on course.
  • Works with current fleet customers to ensure the on-site program continues to meet their specific needs.
  • Monitors equipment usage and keep units strategically placed in the market to maximize revenue generating potential.
  • Supports shop financial performance through the development and management of effective mobile maintenance and marketing programs.
  • Develops and implements mobile maintenance program strategy with Mobile Maintenance Program Manager.
  • Provides shop program information and resolves issues relating to the mobile maintenance program.
  • Provides communications to locations and corporate office regarding shop programs.
  • Plans, initiates and participates in new equipment procurement and procedures.
  • Develops the pricing structure for the mobile maintenance program.
  • Responsible for implementation of mobile maintenance program initiatives.
  • Perform daily and weekly reviews of mobile maintenance workorders for accuracy.

Additional Job Duties:

  • Assists with other duties, as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises 4-10 or more employees.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):

  • Bachelors degree in business or closely related field training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience with developed knowledge of truck vehicle systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the shop and tire industries.
  • Must be able to provide leadership.
  • Must be a strategic thinker with driven results.
  • Must have business acumen and provide strong decision-making skills.
  • Must have financial management skills.
  • Must have the ability to read and understand monthly P&L statements.
  • Must have the ability to read, follow, and implement budget controls.
  • Able to work weekends, holidays, and as needed.
  • Must be able to communicate in English. IF APPLICABLE
  • Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
  • Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
