Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
  • Restroom and Corridor Maintenance: Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and store entrance areas to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans for proper disposal and use of compactor for certain materials.
  • Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
  • Carpets and Upholstery: Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
  • Supply Replenishment: Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies as needed.
  • Housekeeping Schedule: Follow the established housekeeping schedule to ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
Requirements
  • Age and Authorization: Be at least 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Reliability and Trustworthiness: Demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness in performing duties and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Physical Abilities: Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Previous Experience: Have some prior cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
Company Information
  • Employment Type: Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
