Position Summary:

This role is leading the Income Tax Segment of Customer Relations Core Process. Responsible for ensuring both individual and team goals are met. Plans team assignments, rotation schedules, and work requirements. Leads management and team meetings, develops operational reports, and fosters motivation and teamwork through coaching and mentoring to achieve targets. Conducts performance evaluations, contributes to individual development plans, and tracks accomplishments and areas for improvement. Provides feedback to the Kansas Department of Revenue (KDOR) Learning Center for training needs. Manages various tax accounts. Assists customers with relevant information to comply with statutory requirements. Acts on cross-functional process teams and oversees the implementation of new policies.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience in providing guidance for achieving organizational objectives. Education can substitute experience as determined by the agency.
Preferred Experience: Experience in client communication, auditing, computer operations, software applications, and legal interpretation.
Preferred Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, with strong attention to detail.
Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: KBI and FBI fingerprinting needed for access to Federal Tax Information files in KDOR systems.
