Brief Overview:


The Senior Director, Change Management & Implementation, Government & Federal will play a critical role in establishing the scalable process and rigor to coordinate implementation, change management, clinical and patient adoption and training of our automated virtual health, self-guided behavioral health and telemedicine programs across government entities including the Defense Health Agency and Veterans Administration.


You will have an operational focus with the ability to inject a strategic mindset and will think out of the box to develop, document, and lead the optimal process for Amwell platform implementation, adoption and sustainment supporting specific government programs.

You will lead the coordination, and execution of a scalable implementation strategy for each emergent program and facilitate internal and external partner collaboration as needed to meet client requirements.


Important elements of the role include excellent client engagement skills with a focus on operational excellence, process optimization for technology deployment and driving platform growth, utilization, and value creation.

Professional Project Management Skills (PMP) are valuable when applied to the development of processes and documentation needed to scale to support a complex set of requirements and articulate compelling value realization for the client.


In short, you should have a track record of supporting and driving implementation and adoption of complex technical solutions for digital care delivery, patient engagement and healthcare transformation.

You will have managed diverse teams including technical, clinical, strategic and operational resources to accomplish program goals.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination of implementation and change management activities within the Department of Defense of Amwell Automated Care, Self-Guided behavioral Health, and core telemedicine programs.
  • Lead across teams to create and execute scalable deployment, change management, training, adoption and sustainment plans to address current requirements and anticipated future growth.
  • Meet with customers, partners, clients, and internal SMEs to leverage best practices and lessons learned and establish a scalable implementation and utilization approach for telehealth services
  • Develop and deliver highly polished and effective written and visual presentations and documentation and project deliverables for key operational meetings with clients, partners and prospects.
  • Recruit and select additional team members as appropriate and justified to meet client requirements and anticipated growth.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in government Project / Program management.
  • Polished oral and written communications particularly the ability to develop and articulate compelling, value statements to inspire and drive adoption and utilization of virtual health and telehealth solutions.
  • Strong customer interaction/conflict resolution skills
