Assistant Finance Director

Responsibilities:
Works with the Finance Administrator to be the primary resource for all finance-related detailed functions for Finance Division departments.
Designs process and leads monthly performance analysis activities for shared services divisions.
Works with associated executive management to investigate variances and track performance to plan.
Develops and tracks course-correcting action plans.
Designs and oversees maintenance of financial planning reports, charts and presentations related to shared services areas.
Identifies need for and provides training to close competency and quality gaps in performance.
Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree with business emphasis required, Master's preferred
Certifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Certified Management Accountant(CMA)/Healthcare Financial Management Association(HFMA) certification plexity of Work:Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Work Experience:
Minimum of six years of experience in business management, strategic initiatives, operational and capital budgeting processes, financial analysis and reporting.
Healthcare experience preferred, including a minimum of two year of supervisory and/or project management experience required.Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.

Pay RangeMinimum hourly:
$44.53Maximum hourly:
$67.92The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package, which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement.
