FP&A Director Job Description

The FP&A Director will be responsible for overseeing all organizational FP&A functions, team management, and corporate reporting and analysis.

This role will work closely with private equity owners, the board of directors, and the executive leadership team to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes
  • Lead the FP&A team in providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions
  • Cultivate and maintain strong business partnering relationships at all levels
  • Design and implement forecast and budget models to drive business growth
  • Oversee the budget process and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Review financial and operational results and develop improvement insights
  • Provide external reporting support for finance and non-finance functions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 10+ years of FP&A experience, with prior private equity experience preferred
  • SAP experience and a background in manufacturing are essential
