Recruiting and Retention Coordinator

Reports To:

Human Resource ManagerFLSA Classification: ExemptSummaryAssists the Human Resources Department to source and place applicants that fit into the companys culture by utilizing the web-based recruiting system.

Ensure retention of current personnel by maintaining incentives initiated by Human Resources Department.

JOB ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement overall recruiting strategyDevelop and update job descriptions and job specificationsPerform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectivesPrepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etcSource and recruitcandidates by using databases, social media etcScreen candidates resumes and job applicationsConduct interviews using various reliable recruiting andselection tools/methods to filter candidates within scheduleOnboard new employees in order to become fully integratedMonitor and apply HRrecruiting best practicesProvide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the teamAct as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection processPromote companys reputation as best place to workSolid ability to conduct different types of interviews ( structured , competency-based, stress etc)Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc)Familiarity with ADP HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBS/MS in Human Resources ManagementAssist Manager of HR/Payroll in all areas as requestedRecruit applicants based on managers needs.

Maintain recruiting database of acceptable applicants for future hire.
Update recruiting steps with each applicant in the ADP platformCommunicate consistently with managers, applicants and all departments.

Provide necessary staff for managers review and set up interviews as requiredEnsure applicable background screenings are completed for all applicants.

Schedule and initiate all FBI Fingerprint screenings submitted to Casino live for applicants .Remain a source for ADP setup, updates and maintenance.

Coordinate and track all employee relation incentives and/or initiatives to retain quality personnel; communicate results as required.
Administers all employment opportunities via the Internet and other social networks.
Initiate personnel birthday, anniversary or wellness cards for Presidents signature; and sent US Mail to the employees.
Communicate life events or achievements to Marketing/Ops Administrator for Company Newsletter updates.
Participates in recruiting job fairs, mass fingerprint screenings and any other HR related event.
Utilizes internal procedures to ensure accuracy and proficiently of job-related tasks.
Brands employee identification badges.
Readily assists with all on-going departmental projects.
Any other duty as assigned by the Human Resources/Payroll Manager.

Experience and Educational Requirements:
Detailed orientated and proficient in computer applications. Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Ability to produce quality correspondences and reports. Preservation of confidential information is a must. Must be energetic, outgoing, and personable. Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying.

WORK HOURS:
Work hours are primarily 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with some work outside of these hours.#J-18808-Ljbffr
