About the Position:

The Employment Services Representative will provide employment services to participants, including resume writing, job search assistance, and placement support. This role aims to help individuals transition into sustainable employment.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct initial intake and needs assessments for all participants
  • Collaborate with employers to create job opportunities
  • Provide information on employment incentives to prospective employers
  • Develop Individual Services Plans for participants
  • Document participant progress and services provided
  • Offer employment services like resume writing and mock interviews
  • Assist participants in securing employment and necessary documentation
  • Address post-placement issues and ensure program compliance
  • Attend workshops and training as required
  • May serve as a Community Advocate
  • Perform other related duties as needed

What You Will Bring:

Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences or related fields, OR A High school diploma or equivalent AND two years of experience as a job developer or similar position. Minimum of one years experience in a job development role preferred. Basic knowledge of criminal record expungement process is a plus. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Empathy, active listening skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.
