Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Transportation team as a Customer Services Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers, meeting their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and prioritize problems and issues related to service area, performing research and offering solutions to customers.
- Train, schedule, assign, and prioritize workloads, ensuring timely completion of departments work.
- Inspect vehicle gates daily for proper operation and perform preventive maintenance with minor repairs if required.
- Meet with vendors for major repairs and ensure that all signage throughout university-owned properties is properly installed and maintained.
- Provide university village coverage on a daily basis and assist with mobile duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and present oneself professionally in a higher education environment.
- Valid CA driver's license required.
- Demonstrated commitment to USC's Unifying Values of integrity, excellence, diversity, equity, and inclusion, well-being, open communication, and accountability.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to oversee student, temporary, and/or resource workers.
