LHH has partnered with a reputable and established healthcare network dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Services Representative to join the night shift team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the patients receive the highest level of service and support during their stay
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Register patients and verify their insurance information
- Schedule appointments and assist with appointment reminders
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Collect payments and co-pays from patients
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role preferred
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and knowledge of EMRs and Epic preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
Additional details:
- Pay: $20-$23/ hour and based on experience
- Schedule: may vary
- Onsite in Kearny Mesa
