Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing on-site technology support to a fast-paced trading floor, including white-glove VIP support for desk heads.
Resolving technology incidents and addressing client requests.
Building / Deploying windows machines and assisting trading personnel to ensure their applications are optimized on those devices.

Supporting key end user computing, including telephony (Cisco and dealer voice), mobile devices (Apple and Android).Supporting Video Conferencing systems including integrations with Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

Providing regular status updates to customers, stakeholders, and management during high impact incidents.
Collaborating with second and third level technology teams for urgent or complex issues.

Providing after-hours and weekend support (approximately one weekend per month), including onsite project activities, building power downs, technology upgrades, etc.

Traveling occasionally to other sites within US and Canada to support project initiatives.

In addition, your skills/background/interests ideally will include:
Passionate about technology and delivering innovative and progressive solutions, exceeding customer expectations.
Experience supporting Energy Trading businesses is favorable.

Knowledge of a broad spectrum of technology:

iOS, Global Protect VPN, Cloud9 dealer voice, Workplace ONE Mobile Device Management, market data applications (Bloomberg, ICE Suite, CME Direct, LSEG Workspace), BMC Helix, and Lakeside SysTrack.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; skilled at communicating, presenting, generating enthusiasm and buy-in for ideas & solutions.
Ability to effectively balance high volume productivity demands against ability to provide analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Willingness to be accountable for problem tasks seen through to resolution.

Be of strong, dynamic character, capable of dealing effectively with colleagues and business users working in a constantly evolving environment.

Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure situations when faced with urgent issues and adversity.
Preferred university degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
