Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor fellow teachers in your classroom, setting an example and offering constructive feedback.
- Manage the classroom environment, ensuring it is safe, nurturing, and stimulating for learning.
- Act as a role model, employing a growth mindset to encourage learning and development.
- Utilize the L.E.A.P. Curriculum to work with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschoolers according to their individual needs.
- Create a secure and nurturing space for children to engage in play and learning.
- Regularly communicate with parents, sharing children's progress through various channels.
- Collaborate with center staff and management to meet enrollment and engagement objectives.
- Establish strong relationships with families and colleagues, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
- Preferably 1 year of teaching experience, with a minimum of six months in a professional teaching role.
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field is preferred; high school diploma/GED is required.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) is essential.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must adhere to state-specific guidelines for the position.
