Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and mentor fellow teachers in your classroom, setting an example and offering constructive feedback.
  • Manage the classroom environment, ensuring it is safe, nurturing, and stimulating for learning.
  • Act as a role model, employing a growth mindset to encourage learning and development.
  • Utilize the L.E.A.P. Curriculum to work with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschoolers according to their individual needs.
  • Create a secure and nurturing space for children to engage in play and learning.
  • Regularly communicate with parents, sharing children's progress through various channels.
  • Collaborate with center staff and management to meet enrollment and engagement objectives.
  • Establish strong relationships with families and colleagues, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Preferably 1 year of teaching experience, with a minimum of six months in a professional teaching role.
  • Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field is preferred; high school diploma/GED is required.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) is essential.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
  • Must adhere to state-specific guidelines for the position.
