The Learning Experience is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team as an Infant Care Specialist. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom, modeling behaviors and providing feedback to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
- Curriculum Implementation: Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
- Communication: Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various channels, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Center Support: Support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
- Relationship Building: Build relationships with families and coworkers, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field preferred. High school diploma/GED required.
- Experience: 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred. At least six months of professional teaching experience required.
- Certifications: Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP). CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- State Requirements: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
