Production Shift Supervisor opportunity within Manufacturing- Apply Today

Summary

Manages, coordinates and provides leadership to the departments on individual shifts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with operators and Team Leaders
  • Problem solving and technical trouble shooting in conjunction with operators.
  • Monitors business systems for real-time job feedback and accurate data entry in SQDC
  • Ensures product quality is to customer specification
  • Keeps our service levels for high for On-Time Delivery by monitoring ship dates
  • Coordinate and communicate with Team Leader to ensure all jobs are ready or pre-staged
  • Work with and utilize technical leadership as a resource to ensure problems with materials, job sequences, or machines are solved in a prompt manner.
  • Work with Team Leader(s) verbally on the payroll timesheet accuracy on a weekly basis.

Qualifications

  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • 2 to 4 years related leadership experience and/or training
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, methods, and practices
  • HS Diploma or GED
