Job Overview
The Event Service Supervisor is tasked with overseeing and facilitating the preparation, execution, and conclusion of all designated event functions.
Qualifications & Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in a relevant field. Coursework in a related discipline is advantageous. Previous experience in a supervisory role is also desirable.
Physical Demands
Flexibility in work hours is sometimes necessary. The role involves medium physical activity, requiring the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or consistently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move items. Standing for extended periods is essential.

Effective communication, both verbal and written, is crucial when interacting with employees and guests in a courteous and service-oriented manner. Responsibilities include:

Fundamental Duties
All employees are expected to be attentive, friendly, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow staff members. Specific duties include:
- Inspecting the arrangement of meeting and event functions to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Supervising and assisting with the setup of catered events, ensuring that all preparations meet company standards for efficient service.
- Acting as a liaison between sales and catering teams and the event contacts.
- Responding promptly to guest requests and communicating any issues to management.
- Assisting in the creation of work schedules and completing relevant reports.
- Overseeing the breakdown and cleanup of events to ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all function spaces and storage areas.
- Familiarizing oneself with event menus and pricing.
- Supervising event staff as directed by management.
- Conducting pre-event meetings to confirm staffing and menu details.
- Assigning tasks and responsibilities to service staff.
- Preparing accurate reports and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
