Position Overview
We invite you to join our team as the Coffee Shop Supervisor, where you will play a vital role in our narrative. As part of the Auberge family, we seek a proactive facilities leader who can oversee budgets, manage capital projects, and ensure compliance with luxury standards in service and product quality.
The Gavel Supervisor will guide the barista team daily, focusing on guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities include managing opening and closing procedures, overseeing inventory, placing orders, and ensuring adherence to health guidelines. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining a seamless operation.
Key Responsibilities

- Ensuring daily compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee.
- Guiding the team on service, merchandising, and cleanliness standards.
- Preparing a variety of beverages and food items according to established recipes.
- Ensuring prompt and courteous service to all guests.
- Training team members on product knowledge and service expectations.
- Proactively addressing needs and preventing operational issues.
- Maintaining a clean and inviting coffee shop environment.
- Communicating effectively with service and management teams.
- Assisting guests with inquiries about menu items.
- Acting as a knowledgeable resource for guests.
- Ensuring consistent stock levels in the shop.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
- Proven ability to lead by example and provide outstanding customer service.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Food Handler's Card.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated initiative and follow-through.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
