Summary of Position:

The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and directing the routine functions of the Human Resources department. The key responsibilities include leading organizational development efforts to improve employee engagement and productivity, designing and managing comprehensive talent management strategies, and overseeing performance management systems. The HR Manager will also play a critical role in succession planning and leadership development, identifying and nurturing future leaders. Additionally, this position involves leveraging HR analytics and metrics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives. The HR Manager ensures that all HR practices are aligned with the company's strategic goals, promoting a high-performance, inclusive workplace culture.

Position Description:

  • Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Oversee the recruitment and selection process. Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent.
  • Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems. Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR legal trends and best practices.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and create or procure professional development programs for staff. Facilitate training sessions as needed.
  • Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures. Communicate policies to employees and ensure compliance.
  • HR Strategy: Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals. Contribute to strategic planning and organizational development.
