Clinical Program Supervisor supervises staff, staff selecting or recommending selection, training, assigning and evaluating work, counseling disciplining, and terminating or recommending termination.
Other responsibilities of the Clinical Program Supervisor:
  • Directs and oversees agency risk management, human rights, continuous quality improvement activities, ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations and laws, and agency guidelines
  • Reviews, monitors, assesses and consults on cases related to quality improvements, serious incidents, complaints, audits and investigations
  • Clinical Program Supervisor develops and implements policy and procedures related to quality improvement, risk management, state and federal requirements, ensures compliance with same by staff
  • Conducts utilization reviews, performs quality assurance reviews of records
  • Gathers and maintains information to support periodic and special reports documenting activities and events for area of responsibility
  • Stays abreast of new trends procedures for area of responsibility, provides information and training on changes to staff
  • Attends or conducts staff, committee, council or other professional meetings to exchanged information ; participate in workshops and on task forces to address relevant issues
  • Oversees agency and clinical training activities as part of the agency's continuous quality improvement process
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
