The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will report the Laboratory Supervisor with responsibilities that include performing patient sample testing for disease detection, interpreting and analyzing results, and consulting with physicians regarding the findings. Additional duties involve proper operation and maintenance of lab equipment, performing quality control measures, conducting competency assessments, and assisting supervisors and managers with inventory and safety. Candidates who will earn quick interviews are ASCP certified or eligible and have a Bachelors degree in a related field or an Associates degree in medical technology.
