**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Continuous Improvement Assistant at Sumitomo Machinery Corp of America. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on our company's quality and efficiency by assisting in implementing quality control software platforms, transferring information from Lotus Notes to SharePoint, creating reporting dashboards, and contributing to various other projects.

**Compensation Package**

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $18.50, with the potential for up to 25 hours of work per week. Our comprehensive compensation package includes a competitive salary and benefits to ensure your success and well-being.

**Essential Responsibilities and Requirements**

As a Continuous Improvement Assistant, you will assist in implementing quality control software platforms, transferring information from Lotus Notes to SharePoint, creating reporting dashboards, and working on various other projects. To be considered for this role, you must be currently working towards a degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) or other technical disciplines such as science, technology, etc. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required, preferably higher (on a 4.0 scale), and you must be in your junior or senior year of degree program, with seniors being preferred. Self-motivation, discipline, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential qualities for this role. Good oral and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office programs are also required.
