Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions related to accounts receivable. This includes processing payments, maintaining accurate customer account records, and assisting with collections and account reconciliations.

Accounts Receivable Clerk Details:
  • Schedule: 8:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday
  • Pay Rate: $18-$20 Per Hour
     
Accounts Receivable Clerk  Description: 
  • Open, prepare, and process checks via remote deposit daily.
  • Apply check and electronic payments to customer accounts accurately through data entry.
  • Process adjustments to customer accounts as directed.
  • Research and address customer payment inquiries.
  • Maintain and update customer information.
  • Assist with correspondences for past-due accounts and collections, including contacting delinquent accountholders.
  • Provide copies of invoices and account statements upon request.
  • Investigate customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with managerial assistance.
  • Collaborate with the department manager to reconcile accounts receivable periodically.

Accounts Receivable Clerk  Requirements:
  • Two (2) years of successful experience within accounting services. Education will be taken in lieu of experience. 
  • High School Diploma or GED
