Position Summary:

The Rental Fleet Coordinator is responsible for units not gaining revenue by focusing on Cycle Time and Dead Line Reports.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Monitor PM Currency for the Rental Fleet- Work with field locations on to ensure units are serviced on time.
  • Monitor Maintenance Deadline for the Rental Fleet- Support the field on actions that need to be taken to increase uptime.
  • 24/7 Road Reports/Proactive Diagnostic Scenarios- Monitor 24/7 Road Reports for units that need to be serviced. Collaborate with Proactive Teams and Vehicle Diagnostics teams on having units brought in for service to avoid breakdowns.
  • Run Daily Deadline Reports
  • Weekly PM Activity Report
  • Weekly PM Rental Report
  • Aging Repair Orders- Monitor weekly report to ensure Repair Orders are not aging (i.e. vendors are paid, invoices are uploaded, Repair Orders are closed in

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of related field rental/service experience required
  • Must have strong knowledge of truck body components
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships with corporate and field associates
  • Strong negotiation skills required
  • Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
