Travel and Procurement Specialist

Key Role:

Researches procurement status, reviews procurement documentation, and trains stakeholders on required documentation and the procurement process as needed. Coordinates communication of all client-required travel with stakeholders. Tracks the approval process from the initial request to ensure trip reports are submitted. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with travel or procurement

  • Ability to communicate effectively and seek out resources for timely resolution if problems or issues are discovered

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience working with the DoD, or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience working with the DoD

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in BIX

  • Experience in Ivalua

  • Experience with FEDSIM

  • Experience booking or assessing travel

  • Experience in procurement activities

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
