OVERVIEW

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR … 
You will be a dynamic, confident and ambitious Chef who is standards driven,strives for perfection and has a genuine drive and ambition. This is afantastic and exciting opportunity for an experienced chef who has been eitherin charge and wants to move to a hotel or a number two in such a restaurant andwould like to take on a challenge.?

WHAT YOU’LL DO … 
You will take full responsibility of the kitchen, ensuring all restaurantrequirements and some banqueting are dealt with in an orderly and acceleratedmanner. 
Evaluate levels of guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus oncontinuous improvement. 
Act in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and make certain thatall stock is correctly labelled and rotated. 
Attend appropriate training courses, when required, and manage the kitchen’straining and development efforts. 
Ensure the kitchen is clean at any given time and liaising with the Stewardingteam for all cleaning requirements. Ensure all equipment is properly maintainedand any faults reported immediately. 
Handle all complaints swiftly and efficiently and logged in the handoverbook. 
Work to using resources effectively, minimising waste to protect ourenvironment and reduce costs. 
Guarantee that all food items that are purchased are received and checkedagainst the invoice, then stored in the correct manner. 
Compile staff rosters for the team ensuring adequate levels of staff are onduty at all time
