Sr. System Administrator

An organization is looking to hire a Sr. System Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring approximately 5 years of professional experience and knowledge of Epicor ERP to the table. This person will have the opportunity to join a team of competent and collaborative individuals. Responsibilities:
- Involvement in Epicor implementation.
- Collaborate with department heads across various departments.
- Move between closely located buildings (satellite offices, admin building).
- Act as the "go-to" person for all IT-related tasks.
- Provide special project support for the CFO, Controller, and CEO.
- Install and configure software and hardware.
- Manage network, servers, and technology tools.
- Set up accounts and workstations connecting to Azure and other cloud resources.
- Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and manage system outages.
- Ensure security via access controls, backups, firewalls, MFA, and SSO.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Train staff on new technologies.
- Build internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
- Oversee IT processes and ensure compliance with System principles and company procedures.
- Recommend ongoing IT system upgrades and improvements.
- Multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strict deadlines.
- Evaluate and enhance internal controls and compliance procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Desire to learn both hardware and software, and take initiative.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
- Familiarity with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
- Experience in scripting (Python, Perl) is a plus.
- ERP system support and management experience.
- Proficiency in Windows desktop, server, and Azure platforms.
- Excellent time management, multitasking skills, and ability to prioritize.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or similar certification is a plus.
