Duration: 6 months+
Location: Remote in US; EST Hours
Pay: $70-75/hr W2

MUST have experience with Erwin Data Modeler and Azure Data Vault 

Developing Data Models: 

  • Design, create, and manage conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data analysis and business intelligence. 
  • Optimize and update data models to support new and existing projects. 
  • Utilize data modeling tools; Erwin Data Modeler & the erwin 360 portal, to document and manage entities, attributes, relationships, and data flows. 
  • Assure alignment of data models with Azure Databricks Lakehouse platform best practices, and integration with Data Vault 2.0 and star schema methodologies. 
  • Lead data model reviews with project teams. 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institute. 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in data modeler, or similar role/s. 
  • Minimum one-year experience working in a virtual environment. 
  • Able to professionally communicate in verbal and written English. 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Skype and Microsoft Teams. 
  • Proficiency in the erwin Data Modeler & erwin 360 portal. 
  • Experience with Azure and Databricks Lakehouse environment. 
  • Strong understanding of data modeling principles including normalization, dimensional modeling, Data Vault 2.0, and other techniques. 
  • Familiarity with SQL, DDL and relevant database languages. 
  • Able to support a diverse and inclusive work environment. 

 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Certification in erwin Data Modeler. 
  • Experience with other data modeling tools and platforms. 
  • Experience with 3NF 
  • Experience with dimensional modeling methodologies 
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies and cloud-native solutions. 
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
