Fundraising Strategy & Execution

  • Serve as the primary contact for corporations and businesspartners, developing synergies to achieve their CSR goals, mutuallyenhancing the visibility of the partnership, and meetingorganizational goals. 
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Philanthropy andother senior leaders to create, implement, and manage comprehensivefundraising plans and budgets to support the corporate revenuestream. 
  • Lead portfolio management for new and existing corporatepartners, including prospect identification, research, outreach,engagement, stewardship, and management of the corporaterecognition framework. 
  • Lead a robust workplace giving program, and grow new workplaceand matching gift partnerships, through employee engagement,including presenting to employees of corporate partners.
  • Strategize with senior leaders to create a pipeline forcorporate prospects and executives, corporate volunteers, andin-kind donors to generate, meet, and sustain revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with the Events & Cultural Engagement Managerto identify and secure corporate sponsorships for special eventsand to facilitate and steward corporate virtual fooddrives. 
  • Represent Community Food Share in community networking,outreach, fundraisers, and corporate gift acknowledgementevents.

Relationship Management and Administration

  • Manage day-to-day corporate relationships, and lead high-touchoutreach, including timely impact reports, and development ofactivities to encourage further engagement.
  • Develop benchmarks and short‐ and long‐ term metrics to monitorand track activities, progress, and effectiveness of corporatefundraising strategies, in partnership with the Director ofPhilanthropy.
  • Maintain accurate records of all corporate donor records inRaiser’s Edge, inclusive of all moves management actions.
  • Develop compelling proposals and collateral in partnership withthe Events & Cultural Engagement Manager and Director ofMarketing, sponsorship materials, partnership agreements, andcontracts focused on the values and priorities of corporatepartners, with an emphasis on multi-year relationships. 
  • Collaborate with the Events & Cultural Engagement Managerto track and manage partnership and event sponsor benefits, andensure deliverables are fulfilled and results that are communicatedback to sponsors.
  • Work with the Volunteer Department to facilitate corporatevolunteer opportunities and activities and develop strategicengagement plan for engagement during their shifts.
  • Provide input on the budget, including developing revenueprojections, recognizing monthly and annual variances, andidentifying expenses related to the corporate fundraisingprogram.
  • Partner with the Volunteer team on outreach and communicationswith corporate volunteer groups.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of direct fundraising experience with anemphasis on corporate gifts, partnership management, fundraising ora related field or coursework specific to non-profitdevelopment.
  • Established success as a fundraiser and nonprofit leader.
  • A background in communications, sales, business, marketing, oranother relevant field is helpful.
  • Any combination of relevant experiences will beconsidered.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and grow a robustportfolio of corporate donors.
  • Demonstrated experience in raising significant funds for theadvancement of a nonprofit organization.

  • Requires reliable transportation and a flexible schedule asearly morning, evening, weekend, and occasional holiday hours willbe required, specifically Thanksgiving morning.

Health Related Event Protocol

The Health-Related Event Protocol is in effect anytime requiredby federal, state or local health orders, or as required by theorganization for public safety.

Flex Schedule Eligibility: This position iseligible for a flexible schedule from time to time based on theneeds of the department and the individual.  The supervisorfor this position makes the determination for a flex schedule inconsultation with the incumbent. Flex workers may be issued alaptop on a temporary basis to perform their duties.  Flexworkers are required to have a stable, secure internet connectionat the location they are working from. Physical Demands

This position is primarily an office/administrative positionwith 90% of duties performed in an office setting. Work Schedule

Generally, the workweek is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00PM; however, occasional evenings, weekends and holidays may berequired to achieve the goals of the department. Work Environment

Community Food Share operates in a working warehouseenvironment. While performing the duties of this job, the employeemay be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving equipment.The employee may be exposed to high, precarious places; outsideweather conditions; and extreme cold in the walk-ins. The noiselevel in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loudwith machinery and equipment in operation.

The hiring pay range for this position is $60,000 to$75,000 per year. 

NO relocation allowance is allotted for this position.  Outof state residents will need to make their own arrangements torelocate in state to the Boulder area.
