Responsibilities
The CIO is responsible for the enterprise IT vision, strategy and development for the company. This leader will have a proven track record of leading teams globally in standing up enterprise back-office systems and technology for newly formed companies. This leader will have the ability to recruit and build high performance teams while driving customer, business and employee focused initiatives utilizing innovative technical solutions and digital transformation. In addition to planning, the CIO will be responsible for the delivery of all information and technology capabilities required to achieve business capability performance success in a rapidly changing M&A environment. As a member of the Arcfield Senior Leadership Team, the CIO will also help shape the direction of the company and contribute to the development and execution of our strategy.
Job Duties
- In support of the enterprise mission determines the operating model for information and technology to foster business oriented and digital-ready culture, mindsets and practices
- Contributes actively to enterprise strategy and business capability strategic planning. Leads the development of the IT strategic plan and roadmap. Ensures integration with the enterprise's strategic planning process, and the resulting business strategy and plans
- Establishes active relationships with C-level executives and business unit leaders and members of their teams. Contributes as a business executive. Acts as a trusted advisor to ensure all executive leaders can, with the CIO, make confident decisions about the application of information and technology within their units and across the enterprise
- Ensures IT capabilities are delivered reliably, sustainably, cost effectively and securely. Ensures the IT contributions are delivered with agility based on changing business objectives, goals and strategies
- Directs the design and implementation of IT operating model, organizational structure, and governance process
- Collaborates with executive leadership and business partners to define and execute the transformation strategy. Participates in and contributes to the assessment of external digital opportunities and threats, and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning
- Collaborate with the CISO and other Corporate Security executives to ensure the corporate infrastructure supports all aspects of the company’s security program
- Provides strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT systems and programs that fulfill the needs of the business, including enterprise architecture management, application management, security and risk management, and infrastructure and operations support management
- Develops and controls annual operating and capital expenditure budget for IT to ensure the investment in technologies is consistent with the enterprise's overall strategic objectives and is within plan
- Oversee merger and acquisition (M&A) scenarios, the CIO plays will play crucial role in assessing the IT systems, infrastructure, and operations of both the acquiring and the target organizations. The CIO must perform due diligence to identify any potential risks, opportunities, and challenges associated with IT integration
Qualifications
Required
- Must be a US citizen
- Posses and Maintain an Top Secret
- Masters degree and over 20 years of progressive technical and managerial experience in a Federal/Government Contracting IT environment
- Proven experience in a CIO role within a large, complex organization, preferably with 2,000 or more employees
- Extensive experience in managing IT aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration, and post-merger support
- Preferably 15 or more years of experience in related, industry-leading, large, cross-functional teams or enterprise-wide programs, influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts
- Demonstrated experience in strategy and strategic planning, organization design and development
- Demonstrated experience in delivering and overseeing classified and unclassified technological capabilities within secure DOD and IC SCIF environments
- IT Regulatory Compliance experience (CMMC, NIST, DFARS, SOX, PCI)
- Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading large, complex and or transformational initiatives in dynamic environments and taking advantage of digital opportunities to innovate business models and enable the digitalization of the business

- Ablity to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
