Solutions Architect

The Opportunity:

At a certain point, experience-based system design can start to look like clairvoyance. When you’ve developed so many systems that you can not only orchestrate the best solution for any technology-based challenge, but you can also anticipate and preempt future issues, you’re a solutions architect. You’ve evolved your skills into strategy through a long path of software development accomplishments and the curiosity to understand how all the pieces of an IT ecosystem fit together. Are you ready to use your combination of knowledge, skill, and experience to take on the toughest challenges for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and Nuclear Command, Control, and Communication (NC3) mission sets.

You’ll lead technical execution and develop go to market strategies for Electromagnetic Pulse testing capabilities. You’ll support complex and technical bids, including identifying clients’ requirements and buying patterns, developing complex technical solution options, and communicating client impact. You’ll support competitive and competitor assessments, apply leading-edge technical principles, theories, and concepts throughout the business development life cycle, and maintain responsibility for ensuring the solution design and architecture will score strengths and resonate with clients while meeting sustainability and affordability requirements. You’ll work on complex problems and provide innovative solutions for high-priority opportunities, and communicate effectively with capture teams, senior leadership, teammates, and other stakeholders.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in the nuclear defense industry
  • 5+ years of experience with opportunity capture management
  • 5+ years of experience with multi-discipline solutioning for the government
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience developing complex technical solutions for large captures
  • Experience developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with corporate teams, clients, and industry partners
  • Experience with bid and proposal pricing approaches and pricing solution concepts
  • Experience with corporate procurement, vendor management, and subcontracting functions
  • Experience with the business development life cycle, solution selling methodologies, and throughout the solutioning process
  • Experience in Air Force, Space Force, or NASA markets
  • Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts
  • Ability to lead teams and stakeholders of all levels
  • Master's degree
  • Proposals, Capture Management, or Solution Architecting Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
