Job Summary
  • The Medical Secretary is proficient in a variety of clerical duties in department including typing, filing, ordering of supplies, charging, use of computer programs, as necessary to maintain departmental operations. Must demonstrate effective communication skills both verbal and written. Makes suggestions, and implements change as necessary to improve the function of the department.

    • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience
    • Preferred: 1-2 Years Medical Office Experience
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
    • Self starter.
    • Knowledge of Word Processing, computers, multi-line phone & other office equipment
    • Types a minimum of 40 wpm
