Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Secretary to join our team at CoxHealth. As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, procedures, and tests
  • Prepare and distribute medical records, reports, and other documents
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure seamless communication between departments

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of medical office experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and office software
