Digital & Innovation Strategy Manager

 

About the Role 

The Digital & Innovation Strategy Manager is responsible for setting the digital marketing strategy for all JTI product categories, for trade and consumers. This role leads the development of the LD and Logic digital ecosystem (B2C) and the USA Connexus Trade Platform (B2B).  Leverage digital platforms to create omni-channel consumer experiences and competitive advantages for JTI USA brands. 

 

 

What you will do
  • Digital Ecosystem: Lead enhancements of the digital ecosystem, including platform capabilities  to drive engagement and conversions. Develop and implement strategies to optimize consumer journeys across digital platforms. Establish relevant consumer segmentation and leverage full potential of CRM system to accelerate consumer conversion. Lead team to develop relevant promotions and an effective communication/e-mail marketing strategy;
  • Omni-channel Consumer Activation: In charge of planning, developing, implementing and managing omni-channel consumer activation initiatives in line with JTI USA and brand objectives involving close collaboration wtih the portfolio teams, and structuring digital activation programs for retail and digital across available touchpoints; aligning and engaging JTI USA and global teams;
  • Digital Activation - Retail 
     - Drive Mobile Coupon expansion across the indy and chain channel in collaboration with the trade marketing and sales team; pilot and expand Retailer Specific Coupons (chains) and other relevant digital couponing programs
     - EDLP activation: design innovative programs collaborating cross-functionally with the objective to "Win in the EDLP trade channel"
     - Manage “Drive to Online” Program; establish continuous feedback group and drive UX and other program improvements; measure results and engage the sales team; closely collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to establish a more automated B2B2C process; 
     - Develop and execute periodic sweepstake programs with the aim to optimize consumer engagement and conversion to the LD rewards program;
  • Digital Activation - Consumer: develop consumer centric digital activation campaigns and initiatives in line with brand objectives working collaboratively with portfolio managers, creative agencies and developers. In charge of strategy and project management from idea to implementation;
  • Lead B2B digital strategy and drive digitalization agenda in line with JTI USA business goals. Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to unleas the full potential of trade platform Evolve/Connexus. Develop pipeline to evolve Connexus into a strategic trade engagement platform for the USA market including development of a rewards platform, support of retailer activation programs and the expansion of the e-commerce ordering platform for wholesalers;
  • Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent;
  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

 

 

 

Who We Are Looking For

dynamic, passionate, and result-oriented person, with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field;
  • 6-10 years work experience in Trade & Consumer marketing;
  • Fluent English;
  • Strong strategic capabilities;
  • Skilled collaborator with the ability to navigate projects within a complex organizational structure and communicate with stakeholders across functions and levels;
  • Ability to analyze data and formulate data driven decisions to optimize product performance;
  • Experienced in activating brands in both, a retail and online enviornment;
  • Strong leadership skills with track record of nurturing a high performing teams culture;
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Knowledge of branding, web and UX design
