Job Description Summary
The University of South Alabama’s department of Student Academic Success is seeking to hire an Associate Director, Student Academic Success. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.
- Essential Functions
- Leads operations for Navigate360 student success technology.
- Leads training development and assessment for peer leaders deployed in SAS.
- Leads JagPAL program, including training, course assignments, tracking time and budget, and assessment, and engaging with First Year Experience course development and training as needed.
- Leads grant writing in SAS.
- Leads current Title III Second Year Experience program, including supervising direct reporting staff and collaborating with colleagues in assessing indirect reports, leading annual report data collection and preparation, supervising Graduate Assistant supported by the project.
- Leads Scholarship Earn Back programming in SAS, including supervising the Graduate Assistant responsible for this program and collaborating to assess program outcomes.
- Manages CLEP operations on campus.
- Supports programming, outreach, and assessments for Student Academic Success.
- Attends training and various events which may require overnight stays.
- Ensures confidentiality of student records.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required.
- Related duties as required.
