Knowesis is currently seeking a Disability Program Manager/Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator for a contract with a Federal agency to manage the Disability Program by carrying out targeted outreach and recruitment initiatives related to disability employment, identify barriers impacting disability employment programs, develop related recommendations and strategies, conduct EEO informal complaint counseling, and facilitate dispute resolution. 

This position is subject to a mandatory background investigation for a Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship Required (applicants without proof of US citizenship will not be considered due to the position’s security clearance requirement).

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Carrying out targeted outreach and recruitment initiatives related to disability employment
  • Identifying barriers impacting disability employment programs
  • Developing related recommendations and strategies
  • Conducting EEO informal complaint counseling and facilitating dispute resolution
  • Making recommendations of informal resolutions to management
  • Processing reasonable accommodation requests
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring the timely preparation of reports
  • This position is primarily remote. Occasionally, you will be required to facilitate EEO training on-site

Required Qualifications:

  • Must know federal EEO laws, human resource or personnel administrative policies and practices, including appeals and grievances, labor relations, employee relations, position classification, recruitment, and selection.
  • Strong writing skills, attention to detail, research and analytical skills, conduct thorough interviews and interact professionally with all involved parties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EEO Counselor certificate

Education:

  • High school diploma required 
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
