Our client is a fashion company that is a leading private label jewelry/accessories brand known for its exquisite craftsmanship and timeless designs. They specialize in creating unique pieces that reflect elegance and sophistication, catering to clients who appreciate fine craftsmanship. They are currently looking to add a Junior Jewelry Designer (Costume) to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
Up to $80k
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Jewelry Designer (Costume) to join our team full-time. As a Junior Jewelry Designer (Costume), you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing jewelry collections that align with our brand aesthetic and appeal to the target audience. You will work closely with the Design team to translate ideas into sketches and ultimately into beautifully crafted pieces of jewelry.
Responsibilities of the Junior Jewelry Designer (Costume):
Collaborate with the Design team to develop concepts for new jewelry collections.
Create detailed computer CAD sketches and renderings of jewelry designs.
Select gemstones, metals, and other materials for each design.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into designs.
Work closely with the Production team to ensure designs are brought to life accurately.
Attend trade shows and events to gather inspiration and network with industry professionals.
Qualifications for the Junior Jewelry Designer (Costume):
Strong experience in CAD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Experience working with precious metals and gemstones.
Knowledge of gemology and jewelry manufacturing processes.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
