Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Bench Jeweler to join our team in New York, NY at DAVID WEISZ on a full-time basis. In this role, you will engage in a range of jewelry-making activities on-site, including stone setting, polishing, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertise in prong and bezel stone settings
• Experience in setting both diamonds and colored gemstones
• Proficient in working with various metals, including platinum, yellow gold, and white gold, as well as an array of gemstones
• Strong skills in polishing and finishing
• Prior experience in soldering techniques for platinum and gold
• Ability to operate a laser welder
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
• Experience in repairing and crafting diamond jewelry is advantageous
• Professional certification in jewelry-making or a related field is a plus
