How you’ll spend your day

Responsibilities:
•    Participation in the month/quarter/year accounting closing process (SAP)
•    Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual reports
•    Participation in the budgeting (AOP) / forecasting process
•    Valuing the standard cost of products (Costing)
•    Deviation analysis (production costs, material deviations)
•    Continuous improvement of processes and controlling systems/tools
•    Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations
•    Participation in local/regional/global initiatives and projects
•    Calculation of the cost of a standard product
•    This position is on site at Fairfield and Edison. 
 

Your experience and qualifications

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Accounting
•    Standard costing preferred
•    Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel at a minimum basic level
•    Preferred knowledge of SAP 
•    2+ years’ experience in accounting or financial analysis.

Personal skills:
•    Highly committed person that displays strong sense of ownership for work and relies on self to develop and deliver results
•    Managing multiple task effectively and independently
•    Ability to work under time pressure
•    Ability to be developed and maintain strong working relationships so work can be completed on time
•    Demonstrate a strong communication skills
•    Responsible to support the team tasks whenever needed
•    Regular interaction with site personnel to gain a full understanding of any issues which require site finance support
