The Opportunity

Leadership Development:

  • Design and implement leadership development programs that build a strong pipeline of leaders.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify leadership gaps and opportunities.
  • Develop training materials, workshops, and other resources to support leadership growth.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives.
  • Source and evaluate coaches for use in executive coaching engagements.

Succession Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management to identify key roles and develop succession plans.
  • Create and maintain a talent matrix to monitor the readiness of potential successors.
  • Facilitate succession planning discussions and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Implement a structured process to facilitate the creation of career development plans for high-potential employees and key role succession candidates.

Career Development:

  • Develop and manage career development programs that support employee growth and retention.
  • Implement mentoring and coaching programs to support career development initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on career development progress and outcomes.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and calibration.
  • Train managers and employees on effective performance management techniques.
  • Develop tools and resources to support continuous performance improvement.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Employee Engagement and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging:

  • Own the company’s enterprise employee engagement survey process, including regular survey execution, analysis, and reporting.  Facilitate field HR’s ownership and management of business unit specific employee engagement action plans.
  • Shape a DEIB roadmap, evaluating current organizational state with a steady plan to drive organizational improvement.

General Responsibilities:

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent management.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to align talent management strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and manage talent management metrics to track the success of initiatives.

Qualifications 

To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

 

Additional qualifications include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in talent management, leadership development, or a related HR field
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing talent management and DEIB programs
  • Strong understanding of succession planning, career development, and performance management principles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

Par Pacific Holdings, Inc., based in Houston, Texas, owns, manages and maintains interests in energy and infrastructure businesses. Our Refineries and Logistics Operations  

We own and operate refineries in Hawaii, Montana, Washington, and Wyoming, with total operating throughput capacity of over 219 Mbpd. Par Pacific owns and operates one of the largest energy networks in Hawaii with 94,000 bpd of operating refining capacity, a logistics system supplying the major islands of the state and 90 retail locations. In the Pacific Northwest and the Rockies, Par Pacific owns and operates 124,000 bpd of combined refining capacity and related multimodal logistics systems.  

  

Our Retail Operations  

We own and operate 90 retail locations in Hawaii under the Hele and 76 brands and 33 retail locations in Washington and Idaho under the nomnom brand.
