Capstone Hospice is in search of a Staff Development Coordinator.
This position will join our dedicated training/orientation program that is responsible for the development of new and current clinical team members.
This position will require the coordinator to provide in-office and field training with nurses/nurse aides.
This is a full-time position with the expectations of working Monday - Friday.
Our office is located in Peachtree Corners, Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered:
Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia.
Three to five years of health care experience.
One to two years of direct hospice care.
Experience in hospice staff development or case management a plus.
Candidates must have the following traits to be successful in the role:
Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgement.
Abilit to work with individuals, to enlist cooperation of many people to perform/achieve a common goal.
Serve as a role model for all colleagues.
Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural and religious modes.

com Requirements:
Staff Development Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Understands and adheres to established Hospice policies and procedures.
Assists in the coordination/facilitation of Orientation of new team members.
Serves as a role model for all colleagues by setting an example of high standards in dress, conduct, cooperation and job performance.
Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information.
Accepts responsibility for regular attendance and punctuality; fulfills job related requirements without regard to time involved.
Provide Training on EMR navigation (Wellsky/Consolo) Provide education on Clinical processes for new clinical staff Provide education on documentation expectations and compliance Participates in the development and ongoing oversight of the Preceptor program, to include nursing skills competencies, EMR, Processes of policies and procedures, communication skills and symptom management for the field RN and nurse aides.
Works with Compliance Officer to provide for educational needs for all staff.
Assists managers in providing support for performance improvement as identified.
Serves as resource for staff.
Other projects as assigned.

Ability to participate in physical activity.
Ability to work for extended period of time while sitting or standing and being involved in physical activity.
Moderate to heavy lifting, at time assisting with patients in the field while training.
Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis.
This is a full-time, salaried exempt position.
Full time employees are eligible for the Capstone Hospice benefits to include vacation, sick and holiday paid time off, reimbursement for mileage, monthly phone allowance, self-care allowance, matching 401k Retirement Plan, Medical, dental, Vision, Disability and Life Insurance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
