The ideal candidate will be a spiritual leader who is dedicated to providing emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.

Duties - Provide spiritual care and support to patients, their families, and staff, including one-on-one counseling, group sessions, and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement pastoral care programs, ensuring that spiritual needs are met and respected.
- Offer bereavement support and counseling to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Plan and lead religious services, including weddings, baptisms, and memorial services.
- Develop and lead educational programs on topics such as spirituality, grief, and end-of-life care.
- Mentor and train other staff members on the importance of spiritual care in the healthcare setting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local religious communities to provide spiritual support to patients.
- Write and submit reports on pastoral care activities and outcomes.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and staff, ensuring that spiritual needs are understood and met.
- Plan and coordinate special events, such as holiday services and community outreach programs.
Experience - Proven experience in pastoral care, chaplaincy, or a related field.
- Certification in chaplaincy, such as the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) certification, is highly valued.
- Experience in hospice care, crisis intervention, and bereavement support is highly desirable.
Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to provide spiritual care and support to patients of diverse faiths and backgrounds.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Experience in crisis intervention and bereavement support.
- Familiarity with hospice care and end-of-life care.
