Global Internal Audit is a 55+ person team serving the needs of Bunge, a publicly-traded Fortune 200 agribusiness with 2023 Net Sales of $67B. 

Global Internal Audit is a 100% fully rotational function and considered a key source of talent for the business. The fuel for the 100% fully rotational engine is our Global Internal Audit Development Program. This Program is development-based and career-oriented and consists of nearly 15 well-defined elements to build your capabilities and move your career forward. Talent development is front and center as one of the Core Values in the function’s strategic plan and is embedded in virtually everything we do.

Here at Bunge, management has the responsibility for managing and testing SOx, not Global Internal Audit.  This enables the team to focus all its energies on return-generating assurance and advisory projects and strategic initiatives while working in a flexible hybrid environment, tailored to fit their needs.

What will you be challenged to do?

  • Generate a quantifiable return for the business by effectively leading a variety of risk-based and management requested projects.
  • Transform the function, strengthening its brand, through your participation on department initiatives designed to build talent, improve our services, and build productive stakeholder relationships.
  • Heavily invest in your development, and the development of your colleagues, by actively engaging in the Global Internal Audit Development Program™.
  • Participate in other strategic business activities, as requested by management.

What would we ideally like you to have?

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other Business-related field
  • 6+ years of applicable Audit, Accounting, or related Finance or Business experience
  • Appropriate certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) or advanced degree, or pursuing such
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
  • Project management experience
  • Strong business and risk acumen
  • Effective written, verbal and listening communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, especially the ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to and drive change
  • Ability to effectively work and build partnerships with employees at all levels
  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with data analytics, ERP systems, and audit tools
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools
  • Language skills, in addition to English
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%, primarily US and Canada
