Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of global internal audit initiatives, ensuring quality and consistency across projects.
- Act as a subject matter expert, driving continuous improvement in audit methodologies and reporting standards.
- Support the global audit strategy, managing multiple projects that encompass financial, compliance, and operational audits.
- Provide advisory services to management, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to the development of the audit plan.
- Deliver training, coaching, and supervision to audit teams, enhancing their skills and performance.
Key Duties:
- Supervise audit procedures, identifying issues, developing criteria, and analyzing evidence.
- Maintain proactive communication with project sponsors regarding audit status and findings.
- Implement analytical solutions for high-risk audit areas, managing complex analytic audits.
- Coordinate training for guest auditors and ensure adherence to Bunge's Fraud framework.
- Communicate audit results through comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Assist in the planning and management of internal audit operations, including staff recruitment and performance evaluations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and quality assurance in all audit deliverables.
- Participate in risk assessment and audit planning processes.
- Manage administrative tasks related to global internal audit operations.
- Develop strong relationships with country management, acting as a key contact for audit-related matters.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and share knowledge with colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
- CPA or CA certification required.
- Minimum of six years of experience in auditing or related fields, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and laws is highly desirable.
