What you will do:

 

  • Keep current HR electron files including employee information / plant roll call / Progressive disciplinary tracker
  • Act as the Plant focal point for HR policies and procedures with emphasis on benefits and payroll
  • Process temporary service payroll by verifying the weekly timecards and submitting them into the Manpower portal
  • Act as the Plant liaison with corporate HR staff and payroll
  • Assist in new employee onboarding orientation and paperwork using the MyHr system
  • Perform general office work, including filing, mail receiving and distribution, sending out required documentation through USPS/FedEx and other delivery services and ordering supplies and office forms
  • Create requisitions and purchase orders for general plant need – (SAP software)
  • Verify of outbound shipping paperwork and entry of key data into tracking system.
  • File required documents associated with Finished product shipment
  • Answer the phone in a polite and courteous manner – interface with customers and assist with connecting to proper corporate sales group
  • Work with Safety advisor in purchasing safety related equipment and clothing (PPE)
  • Enter and code vendor invoices for general plant needs into Accounts Payable (SAP software)
  • Act as the focal point for outside plant services groups (Jani-King, Cintas, Xerox, and others)
  • Participate in quarterly plant inventories as support member of count team

What you will bring:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • 2 years’ experience required, preferably 3+ years’ experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is considered an asset
